FAQ

I am new to Lagree and/or Climbing. Can I take a regular class?

Yes, unless otherwise stated on the schedule, all class formats cater to all-levels. While some classes on the schedule may say “Beginner”, a Beginner class is not mandatory before coming to an “All Levels” class.

Unless you see “Advanced” next to the class name, all classes cater to all fitness levels and our certified instructors will explain the machine to you prior to your first class and will tailor the workout to suit your needs, giving you modifications if necessary. However, if you suffer from any severe injuries or chronic back pain, we do recommend a private session for our Lagree sessions.

Still not sure what’s right for you? Please email us at [email protected]. We are here to keep you safe and provide the best solution for your needs.

What should I bring to class?

For Lagree:

We do require you to wear grip socks not only for sanitary and safety reasons, but they do help you get the most from your workout! If you do not own grip socks, they are available for purchase when you arrive to class.

For Climbing:

Athletic shoes/sneakers should be worn. Towels are a great option and water is highly recommended! It will help you maximize your performance in class so be sure to drink plenty of water before, during and after your workout.

For Combo:

All of the above applies!

Cell Phone Policy:

While we understand your cell phone will most likely be with you when you arrive to class and we don’t mind if you bring it in the room with you, we kindly ask you keep it tucked away on silent mode during the workout. Not only is this your chance to carve out 45 minutes to yourself but cell phone use is a distraction to those around you. If you absolutely need to use your cell phone  during class, please inform your instructor prior to class (when possible) and/or excuse yourself from the class in order to use it.

How early should I arrive?

Please arrive at least 5 minutes prior to your class start time. If it’s your first time, you MUST arrive at least 15 minutes prior so that your instructor can introduce you to the equipment, the method, explain proper set-up and safety. If you do not show up with enough time for us to give you a full review of the machine, then you will not be permitted to take class. Even if you have been on the Megaformer or Versa Climber before, if you are new to our classes, then you still must arrive 15 minutes early for your first class. Your safety is our priority, hence, the rule.

Being late is especially disruptive to our Versa Climber classes. Late admission will not permitted whether you are brand-new or not.

Will my spot be given away if I am late?

It’s possible! It is important to be on time. We allow 5 minutes after class start time for you to still jump into class (if it is not your first class). If someone is waiting and you are not there at class start time your spot will be given away to the person on the waitlist.

If you are NEW to class, you MUST arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of class. All new members go through an introduction to the machine and the method and this is to ensure we have enough time to give you the full run-down. If you do not arrive in time to get a thorough and proper introduction, you will not be allowed to join the class. This to keep you safe and to deliver you the best workout possible.

How do I schedule a Private or Semi-Private class?

You may purchase a Private or Semi-Private class through the website under the Pricing tab. Next, send an email to [email protected] with details on when and where you would like to book the session and we will confirm with you ASAP.

Can I work out if I’m pregnant?

Yes! We welcome prenatal and postnatal clients and our instructors our trained to cater to your special needs! If you are new to the Lagree or Climbing and you are pregnant, please make sure to check with your doctor before starting a brand-new fitness regimen. It’s important if you are pregnant to arrive early to every class to check in with your instructor so they can go over the correct modifications and adjustments with you (this is important to do for every class you take as each class will be different and our instructors can modify moves if necessary).

For our postnatal clients, please make sure to have clearance from your doctor to start working out again. You must also remember to check in with your instructor prior to class.

How often should I take class?

This is a great question, and the short answer is – however much feels right FOR YOU. Our methods are designed to work your muscles to fatigue, and if we are doing our jobs right, they will need rest! Depending on your fitness level and the intensity of your workout, you will need more or less time to recover in between classes. Each week – and even each day- your body will respond differently. Your body is your greatest indicator- listen to it and do what makes sense for you!

What if I need to cancel or miss a class?

Need to cancel? No problem! We understand life happens! We have a 12-hour cancellation policy for drop-in and package classes and 8-hour cancellation for our members. In order to avoid a late-cancel penalty or missed class fee, we kindly ask that you cancel at a minimum of 12 hours  or 8 hours (for members), of your scheduled class time. The class will then be credited back to your account for future use if you cancel before the late cancel window.

If you cancel in under 12 or 8 hours of your scheduled class time this is considered a ‘late cancel’ and you will forfeit the class. There are no exceptions to this rule. A $10 late cancel fee will be assessed to members for a late cancel and drop-in or class pack holders will forfeit the class.

If you do not cancel your class and do not show up for the scheduled class, you will forfeit your class AND be assessed a NO SHOW fee of $20. For unlimited members, the $20 no-show fee will also be assessed and one day will be removed from your membership month.

Even if you are late canceling, please try to do it as early as possible so that someone else can sign up for that class. All cancelations can be made online.
